Camino, an interlibrary loan service for books, is found within the Library's catalog.

You may notice a Camino link in the catalog on items that we don't have. Students, faculty, and staff can now request books from our Camino partners in Northern and Southern California, and have them delivered in two to three days.

It's a quicker version of ILL and free. When you click on the link, the item information is entered into the fields. Just enter your information and when it arrives, you will receive an email.

  1. Go to our catalog from the library's home page, and do your search
  2. In the search results screen, if we don't have a book but Camino does, you'll see "Camino" in green letters
  3. Click on the title of the book
  4. Click on the "Request Camino Item" (the blue button on the right side of the screen about half way down)
  5. Enter you student ID
  6. Enter your email
  7. Submit it and you're done.

Camino Policies

Hold for Pickup

We will hold a borrowed item for ten (10) days from the time we receive it. If you do not pick up the item, it will be returned after these 10 days.

Due Date

The due date for a borrowed item will be 45 days from the date you pick it up.

Because the initial loan period is 45 days, there will be no renewals in Camino.

Grace Period

You will be given a two-day grace period until overdue fines start to accrue.
