You can add keywords to a reference in RefWorks a couple of ways.

If you are adding a new reference manually, you can add your keywords into the "Descriptor" field (Descriptor is another word for keyword).  You can add as many descriptors as you would like, just separate them with a semicolog (;).

If you exported a citation from a database into RefWorks you'll need to click on "Edit," located on the right side of your screen for each reference.  Once you've opened up the reference for editing then it's the same as above.
