If the website has no author you have a couple of options:

  1. Use the corporate author.  For example if you find an article on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website you can use the CDC as the author.
  2. If there is no corporate author you can use the title of the webpage that you are citing from a website.

If there is no date available use N.D. (no date) in place of the year.  For example:

Centers for Disease Control. (N.D.). Seasonal Influenza (Flu). Retrieved April 19, 2013, from http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/disease/index.htm.
