There are different aspects of addiction to consider so the database may depend on the question you're trying to answer. A couple to take a look at:
- PsycINFO - Psychology articles. Good for looking at addiction from the mental health aspects
- SOCindex - Sociology articles. Good for looking at addiction through societal issues
- ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health - Health articles. Good for looking at addiction from the side of healthcare
- IceBerg - Searches multiple databases to help you find what you may have missed in other databases
