You have 2 options for including a Kanopy Video in Moodle:
- Link to the video
- Embed the video
Linking to the Video
- In Kanopy, navigate to video that you want to share
- Select Share from the menu located under your video
- Copy the URL provided
- In Moodle, choose to Add an Activity or Resource
- Choose to add a URL
- Name your link and paste in the URL from Kanopy
- Add the link to Moodle
Embedding the Video in Moodle
Rather than linking out to the video, you can have it play in Moodle
- In Kanopy, navigate to video that you want to share
- Select Share from the menu located under your video
- Choose the Embed option
- Select and Copy all of the HTML provided
- In Moodle, choose to Add an Activity or Resource
- Choose to add a Label
- From the Label editing screen choose to Show Advanced Buttons
- Click on the double carat <>
- Paste in the HTML that you copied from Kanopy
- Save it!
Students should now be able to play the video directly from Moodle
