JSTOR is one of our databases and in it you can find full runs of scholarly journals.   That is to say JSTOR makes digital copies of journals going all the back to the first instance of that joural.

The cool thing about that, is that you can find articles going back to the 1600's.  If you are doing historical research you can find first person accounts and original articles (in one instance I found one Sir Isaac Newton's first published article).
