I'm not sure taboo is the correct word here (but that's debatable).  There are some forms of sex that are considered culturally taboo, but I'm not sure the act of sex itself is.  So, are you asking about premarital sex or a particular sexual act or just the act of sex itself?

Next, I would ask: which culture are you asking about?  Sex is viewed differently throughout the world depending on the country and culture you talking about.
