The short answer is Yes! Students can submit multiple documents at one time or over the span of a few days.
Multiple Files and 1 submission
Students can drag and drop or continously add documents until the hit the Submission button. This requires no additional set up on the part of the instructor.
Multiple Files submitted over time
To allow for this the instructor needs to allow for Unlimited (or multiple) attempts in the Submission Attempts section when setting up the assignment.
A few things for the students to know:
- When they upload a document they will always see the most recent one. It may look like the previous document is gone. The can change the view of what they've uploaded by changing the selection of the Attempt number in the drop-down menu in the upper left corner.
- Students should give meaningful file names to their documents to make it easier for them (and you) to distinguish between files.
- Students can add a comment with each document by hitting the Add Comment button on the right side of the screen.This is another way students can communicate with you about what they have uploaded
A few things for the instructor to know:
- View the documents through the SpeedGrader located in the upper right corner uner Related Items
- Instructors can change which document they are viewing in the SpeedGrader by choosing the Submission to view drop-down menu in the upper right corner
