  • Books are loaned for 21 days. You can renew only within three days of the original due date. Renewal is not automatic. One three-week renewal is allowed for books and some media, unless the item has been requested at the owning institution.
  • Most media (DVDs, videos) are loaned for 7 days. Some items have a 7 day renewal if there are no holds.
  • Some non-book items which might be considered "media" (such as CD-ROMs and Books on CD) may have a loan period of either 21 or 7 days, depending on the loaning library.
