Q. I need to find some definitions in regards to Japanese literature.

You've got a couple of options:

1. If you are looking for quick definitions of Japanese literary terms and Japanese words you might want to check out Credo Reference.  You can find Credo in the databases located on the Library's website.  Credo contains quick reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries, and almanacs.  You can type a term in there and usually find an explanation.
2. You can look for a book in the Library.  Doing a simple search in the catalog  on "Japanese literature" will reveal that we have a lot of general books about Japanese Lit.  Some of these might give some explanations of terms.
