Try a database called CINAHL, or Proquest Nursing. In CINAHL you can also choose multiple databases (above the keyword boxes), like NursingSource or PsycInfo. Use many combos of keywords and avoid too many limiters (like full-text only or peer-review only). Professional magazines also can lead you to studies or original research. To add to your pool of sources, try "citation searching" - looking for another article that quotes the articles you find.
