The basic answer is:
Lastname, Firstname. Title of Book. Place of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication.
Note: Medium of Publication means did you find it in print or was it electronic?
An example of a book with one author:
Gleick, James. Chaos: Making a New Science. New York: Penguin, 1987. Print.
A book with more than one author would look like:
Gillespie, Paula, and Neal Lerner. The Allyn and Bacon Guide to Peer Tutoring. Boston: Allyn, 2000. Print.
If you need more, the Library has the MLA writing guide or you can use a citation builder like KnightCite or RefWorks
