Q. I need help finding peer reviewed journals

Most of our databases have an option where you can chose to search only peer reviewed journals. Unfortunately, there is not a place that definitively lists which journals are peer reviewed and which are not.

In most cases, journals put out by organizations (American Medical Association, American Psychology Association) will be peer reviewed. If you are unsure as to whether or not your article is from a peer reviewed journal, you can do a few things:

1. Look up the journal in our journal list and see what databases cover the date range of your article. Select the "peer reviewed" option and do a search for your article.
2. Google your journal and read the "about' page and see if it mentions if the journal is peer reviewed or not.
