Q. Where would I browse through art books in the library?

Books on the fine arts can be found on the second floor of the Library.

The Library at Dominican categorizes books using the Library of Congress (LC) system.  In LC art is covered by the N's.  So go to the second floor, look at the call numbers on the spines of the books.  When you find books with call numbers that start with N (e.g N, NA, NK, NX and so on) you'll be in the section with the fine arts.

Art books can also be oversized (i.e. too big to fit on the normal shelves).  You can find a lot of art books along the back wall of the second floor with the oversized books.  Again, look for the N's.
