Yes, PubMed is run by the National Institute of Health so it's available to the public. You can access and search it from home if you wish.
Using it through Dominican's website provides an added service that will link PubMed abstracts to articles within Dominican's databases. For this added service you can have access only inside the library by using one of the two public access computers to search our databases, However, you will not be able to print from those computers.
You can either email the articles to yourself or copy them onto a flash drive.
